Tigran Khachaturyan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Hernandez in the 21st minute of play forced Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Latif Al Fakir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Eustacio Casos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Latif Al Fakir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Latif Al Fakir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Massa in the 25th minute of play. Latif Al Fakir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Israel Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Latif Al Fakir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toqui Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germán Alen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galatasaray SK were furious when Arsen Ugolnikov was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galatasaray SK! 94 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when Germán Alen came free, but Latif Al Fakir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galatasaray SK's Latif Al Fakir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germán Alen in the 95th minute of play.
