In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind BuanaRaya's goalkeeper Cătălin Ostoici, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Galle to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Ceyhan İlmi got free with David Abad in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26thth minute of the game Günther Doty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BuanaRaya's Cătălin Ostoici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Chinese CJ Youth Academy from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad got control of the ball when Grigoris Katsafanas tried to sneak it across the goal line. BuanaRaya's Cătălin Ostoici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günther Doty in the 32nd minute of play. In the 45th minute Ayi Kusumah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Günther Doty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Ostoici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BuanaRaya's zone, Günther Doty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Ostoici came out of the goal and Günther Doty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BuanaRaya's Pepijn Hummel was substituted for Ayi Kusumah. David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ceyhan İlmi in the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Doty came free, but Cătălin Ostoici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Chinese CJ Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Su Jian Jie. The BuanaRaya supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chinese CJ Youth Academy's performance. The match ended with a win for Chinese CJ Youth Academy.
