Despite this Sebald Gentiletti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 23 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Nøttveit came free, but Osvaldo Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Leobardo came out of the goal and Alf Nøttveit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

AC Rangers's Amancio Inocente was substituted for Emiliano Aznaro. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Neto made a kick off. Richard Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Osvaldo Leobardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocky Ryland, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 68 played minutes AC Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Tihomir Leustek. Osvaldo Leobardo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Mauseth. Sebald Gentiletti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Neto in the 92nd minute of play. Torjus Fjellheim kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Suleskard played a much better game than AC Rangers and deserved their victory. The AC Rangers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
