With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olcay Bozkurt in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Leobardo saved AC Rangers from getting behind. Alexandros Iordanidis made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Emiliano Aznaro sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th match minute, AC Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Neto to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olcay Bozkurt in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Olcay Bozkurt came free, but Osvaldo Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Cupșa in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of RO Army V55 booed when AC Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Crispin Grassow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Leobardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demis Grigoriadis in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olcay Bozkurt in the 36th minute of play forced AC Rangers's goalkeeper Osvaldo Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Olcay Bozkurt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Leobardo. AC Rangers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olcay Bozkurt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 40th minute, Vinícius Junior left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RO Army V55 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Iosif Cupșa might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvaldo Leobardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iosif Cupșa ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 43 minutes, Olcay Bozkurt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RO Army V55's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olcay Bozkurt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Vinícius Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Junior in the 46th minute of play. After the first half RO Army V55 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

AC Rangers's Amancio Inocente was substituted for Emiliano Aznaro. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olcay Bozkurt was the one to do the kick off. Olcay Bozkurt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Osvaldo Leobardo made a huge save. RO Army V55's Alexandros Iordanidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Inocente in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo got control of the ball when Edgardo Ugutz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Osvaldo Leobardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Ugutz's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the game, one of AC Rangers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 85 minutes into the match, Marcos Mazer notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo. Osvaldo Leobardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandros Iordanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Penkalski in the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giorgos Kalantas got free with Osvaldo Leobardo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osvaldo Leobardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Ugutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes AC Rangers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgardo Ugutz who took care of the corner kick. Marcos Mazer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Leobardo having to interfere. In the 99th minute Edgardo Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RO Army V55 played a much better game than AC Rangers and deserved their victory. The AC Rangers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
