LA MAQUINA F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Loco Borja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Bai Le Zheng made a huge save. When Valentin Makovskiy fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA MAQUINA F.C's protests and gave Valentin Makovskiy a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Makovskiy hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Andres Azubeli hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Loco Borja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bai Le Zheng having to interfere. Damaso Serapio kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sérgio Berti got free with Bai Le Zheng in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sérgio Berti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Nicolas Galtero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Porfiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nicolas Galtero's late challenge caught a LA MAQUINA F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Galtero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Nicolas Galtero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bai Le Zheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loco Borja in the 38th minute. The supporters of LA MAQUINA F.C booed when Rio Percy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Bastiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Turi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 41st playminute. In the 47th minute, Carlos Alberto Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bai Le Zheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Galtero was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Jochen Jonckheere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Rio Percy's Jochen Jonckheere got a free kick in the 61st minute. Andres Azubeli hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. LA MAQUINA F.C made a substitution. Osvaldo Linhares replaced Sérgio Berti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Makovskiy in the 67th minute of play forced Rio Percy's goalkeeper Bai Le Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Bero, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Pernambucano in the 71st minute of play forced Rio Percy's goalkeeper Bai Le Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rio Percy getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Andres Azubeli hit a great ball. Higinio Porfiro came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Percy's Horacio Bero. But to his dismay, Horacio Bero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After 83 played minutes Rio Percy got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Bero. LA MAQUINA F.C's attentive Bohuslav Plachetka managed to snatch the ball when Dalmacio Bieito made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Dalmacio Bieito in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by LA MAQUINA F.C's Bohuslav Plachetka. Bai Le Zheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rio Percy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
