Nicolas Galtero scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alisson Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 7 minutes into the game, Jochen Jonckheere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio Percy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Natingui FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rio Percy's Jochen Jonckheere got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Nicolas Galtero came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Rio Percy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Galtero couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the game, Eliseu Guerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bai Le Zheng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Guerra in the 18th minute of play forced Rio Percy's goalkeeper Bai Le Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bai Le Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Guerra in the 19th minute of the match. With a little luck, Natingui FC's Alisson Taffarel got control of the ball when Nicolas Galtero tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Natingui FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Armandinho da Costa hit a great ball. Damaso Serapio lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Natingui FC a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonas Fantini, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rio Percy's Bai Le Zheng. 1-3. After taking down the ball on Natingui FC's corner Jonas Fantini fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bai Le Zheng quite easily take care of the ball. Jonas Fantini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bai Le Zheng. Rio Percy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
Desiderio Camerino's late challenge caught a Natingui FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desiderio Camerino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Rio Percy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Camerino to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, Natingui FC's Eliseu Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bai Le Zheng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Percy's goalkeeper Bai Le Zheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alisson Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Galtero in the 63rd minute of the match. Eliseu Guerra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Bai Le Zheng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 65 minutes Rio Percy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonas Fantini who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Natingui FC's Lars-Erik Gustafsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Bai Le Zheng despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Lars-Erik Gustafsson notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Rio Percy's Bai Le Zheng. Bai Le Zheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute, Armandinho da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anibal Mattin struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alisson Taffarel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Percy. After 74 played minutes Rio Percy got a freekick which was hit by Jochen Jonckheere. After a rather tough play, Natingui FC's Lars-Erik Gustafsson got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 81 played minutes Natingui FC got a freekick which was hit by Lars-Erik Gustafsson. When Armandinho da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Natingui FC's protests and gave Armandinho da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rio Percy booed when Natingui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armandinho da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eliseu Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Natingui FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Guerra couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd match minute, Rio Percy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. Eliseu Guerra took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bai Le Zheng. Bai Le Zheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Natingui FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
