Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdomiro Luz in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grayson Gruenigen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 played minutes Fischverband Ostschweiz got a freekick which was hit by Timofej Felder. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Leão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Grayson Gruenigen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdomiro Luz's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fischverband Ostschweiz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdomiro Luz was slow to take the kick. During this time Misericordia EC's players had a chance to rest. Faustão Terra made a great header on Misericordia EC's corner, it was just that Fischverband Ostschweiz's Grayson Gruenigen managed to reach the ball for a save. Paulo Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leigh Abendroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomil Ligas's late challenge caught a Misericordia EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radomil Ligas helped the player get up and apologised. Radomil Ligas hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Zico Maravilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grayson Gruenigen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luís Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 65th match minute, Misericordia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Terra to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão got control of the ball when Radomil Ligas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Zico Maravilha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grayson Gruenigen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 74 minutes into the match, Fischverband Ostschweiz's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Tinoco came free, but Grayson Gruenigen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chris Lachapelle hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Misericordia EC's Jeremias Tinoco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grayson Gruenigen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Leigh Abendroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Leão having to interfere. Grayson Gruenigen came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Misericordia EC's Jeremias Tinoco. But to his dismay, Jeremias Tinoco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.
