The Atlético de Crisal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cido Valle should have stopped the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cido Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sorci Viola's Franco Piccirilli was substituted for Cosimo Toninelli. Atlético de Crisal's Adelino Miranda was substituted for Kaká Ferreira. Atlético de Crisal's Henrique dos Santos was substituted for Alessandro Goiano. Cido Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Miranda in the 78th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
