The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Bakary Guinaudeau got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Son Son came free, but Sofyane Valognes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Galip Öveç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hervé Annette in the 13th minute of play. Hervé Annette hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benoît Lamarre in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Galip Öveç saved Rincón de los Sauces AFC from getting behind. Hervé Annette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Illart got free with Sofyane Valognes in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 43 minutes of play, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Cesar Illart made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sofyane Valognes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Flavian Garcon made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Son Son got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Amaya in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benoît Lamarre in the 65th minute of play forced Rincón de los Sauces AFC's goalkeeper Galip Öveç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Flavian Garcon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galip Öveç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Benoît Lamarre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hervé Annette blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Galip Öveç having to make a save. In the 76th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Pardon to maneuver through the defense. Adil Magaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Amaya in the 90th minute of play. Cesar Illart charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Illart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Rincón de los Sauces AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Rathmore Lime Tree having more of the ball for most of the match.
