Natanael Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Garoa in the 8th minute of the match. Umberto Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natanael Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Almir Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gao Chao in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Almir Britto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 19th minute, Almir Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Garoa came free, but Natanael Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natanael Paraense came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Gao Chao. But to his dismay, Gao Chao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Natanael Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Chao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Goiás Esporte Clube booed when JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Almir Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB booed when Goiás Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Garoa in the 33rd minute of play. Giovanni da Rocha hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match Mario Mauad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natanael Paraense skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Chao in the 36th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Giovanni da Rocha got a free kick in the 37th minute. Mario Mauad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natanael Paraense. Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 40th minute Romulo Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Giovanni da Rocha put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Goiás Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Giovanni da Rocha hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes, JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Mario Mauad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Natanael Paraense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

55 minutes into the match, Romulo Arias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natanael Paraense. Goiás Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romulo Arias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 58th minute, JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Pablo Garoa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Natanael Paraense. Natanael Paraense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Romulo Benvide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Pablo Garoa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 62nd playminute. JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Ciriaco Garaona was substituted for Celso Txindoki. After 74 played minutes JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Simon Koldobika. Romulo Benvide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Peres in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdir Neves who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Goiás Esporte Clube's corner Valdir Neves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Romulo Benvide quite easily take care of the ball. In the 82nd minute Donato Manny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute of the match JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB got a corner. Goiás Esporte Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Mauad ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's corner Donato Manny fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Natanael Paraense quite easily take care of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Manny came free, but Natanael Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 91 in the game by Pablo Garoa from a close distance when the talented Natanael Paraense managed to make a qualified save. Goiás Esporte Clube's players were relieved. After having played for 94 minutes, Umberto Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goiás Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umberto Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
