Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Almir Britto kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes, Radomil Smolarek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Army and the JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Red Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Smolarek to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Red Army's Lech Konopka got control of the ball when Pablo Garoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lech Konopka made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Gao Chao sent off a good shot on target. Romulo Benvide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Majewski in the 10th minute of play. JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Romulo Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Majewski in the 10th minute of play. Mario Mauad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lech Konopka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Pablo Garoa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lech Konopka. Pablo Garoa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Red Army's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Mauad came free, but Lech Konopka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lech Konopka came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Mario Mauad. But to his dismay, Mario Mauad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Lech Konopka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Chao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Red Army got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Lemiesz. 28 minutes into the game, JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Almir Britto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lech Konopka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 31 minutes into the match, Red Army's goalkeeper Lech Konopka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Garoa. After 32 minutes Red Army's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Mauad who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's corner Darius McCorkill fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lech Konopka quite easily take care of the ball. After 33 played minutes Red Army got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Lemiesz. 34 minutes into the game, Pablo Garoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Lech Konopka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Pablo Garoa got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gao Chao charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gao Chao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gao Chao hit a great ball. Pablo Garoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lech Konopka having to make a save. Pablo Garoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lech Konopka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Garoa ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janusz Niedzwiecki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Almir Britto struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Lech Konopka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB. Mario Mauad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lech Konopka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute Franciszek Prosowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Benvide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Gao Chao nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The Red Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lech Konopka should have stopped the shot. If Donato Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Garoa in the 80th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Lech Konopka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lech Konopka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Leizarraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lech Konopka having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Red Army fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Leizarraga in the 95th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Lech Konopka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Donato Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
