The audience was convinced that Almir Britto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Galip Öveç was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Galip Öveç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Garoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Illart kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Gao Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galip Öveç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cesar Illart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Rincón de los Sauces AFC defense, Gao Chao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Galip Öveç. The Rincón de los Sauces AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Galip Öveç should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Pablo Garoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Cesar Illart got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Pablo Garoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galip Öveç having to interfere. When JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Almir Britto in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Almir Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After the first half JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Son Son made the kick off in the second half. Gao Chao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Galip Öveç having to make a save. Rincón de los Sauces AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Almir Britto scored to the left of an out of position Galip Öveç, making the score, 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gao Chao got free with Galip Öveç in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Pablo Garoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Galip Öveç. Rincón de los Sauces AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Garoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Galip Öveç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Britto in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Britto in the 65th minute of play forced Rincón de los Sauces AFC's goalkeeper Galip Öveç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Rincón de los Sauces AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Illart. 86 minutes into the match, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Manny came free, but Galip Öveç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rincón de los Sauces AFC booed when JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romulo Benvide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Son Son in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Son Son came free, but Romulo Benvide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Koldobika hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Galip Öveç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
