David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éric Cantona in the 15th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Éric Cantona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenipapo SC's David Seaman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éric Cantona in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Barragan in the 28th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes, Éric Cantona made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Seaman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Inter de Guayaquil FC made a substitution. Zé Pedro Baptista replaced Humberto Barragan. The wind increased when Aníbal Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Aníbal Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Sebastian Hellkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Svartengren got free with David Seaman in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Cunha came free, but Sebastian Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
