Ergincan Sahadettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Helberg in the 4th minute of play. Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Dennis Arvidsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Team E.C Dahls's Dennis Arvidsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Team E.C Dahls from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Team E.C Dahls's Dennis Arvidsson got control of the ball when Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16 minutes Team E.C Dahls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mehmet Osman Tuncal who took care of the corner kick. Kai-Arne Sortland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute, Magnus Meier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ergincan Sahadettin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Samsunspor SK2011 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Team E.C Dahls's zone, Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Arvidsson came out of the goal and Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Arvidsson made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge sent off a good shot on target. Ergincan Sahadettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai-Arne Sortland in the 29th minute of the match. Ergincan Sahadettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai-Arne Sortland in the 31st minute of play. Øivind Lier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergincan Sahadettin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai-Arne Sortland in the 38th minute of play forced Samsunspor SK2011's goalkeeper Ergincan Sahadettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Kai-Arne Sortland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Team E.C Dahls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Team E.C Dahls's goalkeeper Dennis Arvidsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ergincan Sahadettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Meier in the 45th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes Team E.C Dahls got a freekick which was hit by Øivind Lier. Samsunspor SK2011's Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Team E.C Dahls's Kai-Arne Sortland ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ergincan Sahadettin. Ergincan Sahadettin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Ahmet Nasir Acemoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Arif Burak Hacıfettahoğlu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Samsunspor SK2011! Ergincan Sahadettin had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Magnus Meier's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Samsunspor SK2011's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Helberg came free, but Ergincan Sahadettin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Ergincan Sahadettin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Magnus Meier in the 69thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience was convinced that Rudolf Helberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ergincan Sahadettin was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Samsunspor SK2011's Ergincan Sahadettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Helberg in the 71st minute of play. 0-4 became the score in the 72nd minute when Magnus Meier elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Team E.C Dahls's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dennis Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magnus Meier in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ergincan Sahadettin saved Samsunspor SK2011 from getting behind. In the 91st minute of the match Team E.C Dahls got a corner. Samsunspor SK2011's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Magnus Meier ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Team E.C Dahls's Magnus Meier to fire away a dangerous shot which Ergincan Sahadettin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 93rd of the match, Øivind Lier tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ergincan Sahadettin got in the way and made a wonderful save. Samsunspor SK2011's Ergincan Sahadettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai-Arne Sortland in the 99th minute of play.
