Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norbert Konopka in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ergincan Sahadettin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Samsunspor SK2011's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Fenomeno came free, but Ergincan Sahadettin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldinho Fenomeno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ergincan Sahadettin made a huge save. If Evair Gøl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
