Dino Gazza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Staniša Šorgić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alvaro Manzi charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Manzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Villadeatese FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Manzi. Radoman Karaičić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Villadeatese FC's Dino Roberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sima Ignjatović in the 15th minute of play. Staniša Šorgić made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Arrigo Clementi sent off a good shot on target. Radoman Karaičić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dino Roberto having to make a save. Villadeatese FC's Dino Roberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoman Karaičić in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Villadeatese FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Manzi to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radoman Karaičić to make the kick off. Radoman Karaičić succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 51st playminute.
