Angelo Peruzzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harry Boumans's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Boumans came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match Bo Eriksson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Peruzzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Gernando Pernambucano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils-Erik Åhlberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Harry Boumans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Angelo Peruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Peruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Boumans, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Boumans in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Peruzzi saved Borussia Dortmund MZB from getting behind. In the 94th minute Runa United were awarded a corner. Bo Eriksson went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Runa United getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jörgen Lundström hit a great ball. After 97 played minutes, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Renan Veiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nils-Erik Åhlberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Borussia Dortmund MZB reached it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Borussia Dortmund MZB could leave the field as winners, despite Runa United having more of the ball for most of the match.
