After 6 played minutes Runa United got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Lundin. Fevzi Turhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Rochat in the 10th minute of play forced Runa United's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Wit Modrzewski in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Runa United's Joel Andreasson. Bayhan Bedük made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Bo Eriksson sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Runa United's Bo Eriksson got a free kick in the 13th minute. Nils-Erik Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağlar Demirer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joel Andreasson came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Runa United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Andreasson couldn't finish the play. Nils-Erik Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Kakisim, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Çağlar Demirer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nils-Erik Åhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuz Kakisim in the 23rd minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Runa United's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuz Kakisim came free, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayhan Bedük made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Andreasson in the 35th minute. Runa United were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after GEOMATİC FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bo Eriksson took the corner. The corner led Runa United's Florian Fittipaldi to fire away a dangerous shot which Bayhan Bedük despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nils-Erik Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chu Wen Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oğuz Kakisim in the 43rd minute of play. Matthias Lundin's late challenge caught a GEOMATİC FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthias Lundin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GEOMATİC FK booed when Runa United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ted Almstedt to make the kick off. Nils-Erik Åhlberg made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Oğuz Kakisim sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Runa United's Jörgen Lundström got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ted Almstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bayhan Bedük tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Runa United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Lundin to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes in the game Chu Wen Le after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Nils-Erik Åhlberg. A very good opportunity. If Harry Boumans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Harry Boumans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayhan Bedük saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GEOMATİC FK made a substitution. Paşa İşçen replaced Wit Modrzewski. GEOMATİC FK made a substitution. Ege Kakisim replaced Oğuz Kakisim. After 68 minutes Runa United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chu Wen Le who took care of the corner kick. Sivert Rönn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayhan Bedük having to interfere. Çağlar Demirer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg made a huge save. GEOMATİC FK's Bayhan Bedük played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Boumans in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes GEOMATİC FK got a freekick which was hit by Paşa İşçen. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Boumans in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bayhan Bedük prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute, Roger Hybbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Bo Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayhan Bedük saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The GEOMATİC FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GEOMATİC FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
