A well-hit corner resulted in Casimiro Innocenzio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 13th minute, Stian Selnes made a precise shot to the right of Godofredo Carlomagno. Brown de Adrogué's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Godofredo Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício de Lara in the 16th minute of play. Godofredo Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício de Lara in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Stian Selnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alfa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 24th minute, Maurício de Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godofredo Carlomagno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Pablo Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Kristian Sanne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Pablo Corderun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godofredo Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stian Selnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 43 played minutes Brown de Adrogué got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Minteuan. After a defensive mix-up in Brown de Adrogué's zone, Stian Selnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Carlomagno came out of the goal and Stian Selnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Brown de Adrogué's goal looked a bit too open when Ole-Johan Larsen came free, but Godofredo Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Brown de Adrogué players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alfa FC were winning 0-3.
Brown de Adrogué's Godofredo Galo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Brown de Adrogué's Godofredo Guifre seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Godofredo Guifre the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Brown de Adrogué protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Godofredo Guifre had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Alfa FC booed when Brown de Adrogué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Guifre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ole-Johan Larsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godofredo Carlomagno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. When Brown de Adrogué's Casimiro Innocenzio in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício de Lara in the 68th minute of play forced Brown de Adrogué's goalkeeper Godofredo Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's Lázaro Galtero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godofredo Carlomagno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Brown de Adrogué's Pablo Corderun got a free kick in the 78th minute. The referee ignored Brown de Adrogué's protests and gave Godofredo Galo a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Brown de Adrogué got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Galo. In the 83rd minute of the match, Maurício de Lara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Godofredo Carlomagno saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ole-Johan Larsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Godofredo Carlomagno made a huge save. If Godofredo Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otávio Lima made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brown de Adrogué's Anier Txurio. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Casimiro Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brown de Adrogué's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Innocenzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lázaro Galtero came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Alfa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Galtero couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alfa FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
