Erling Frankss short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Fermin Basajaun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 41 played minutes 20 DE SETEMBRO got a freekick which was hit by Iztal Marisancena. Benê Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronan Barbarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, CeciForEver's Omar Jakue nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benê Goiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 47th minute, Ermegildo Gitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erling Franks was the one to do the kick off. When Erling Franks came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the 20 DE SETEMBRO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erling Franks couldn't finish the play. Benê Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute of the match CeciForEver got a corner. 20 DE SETEMBRO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Micael ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CeciForEver's Omar Jakue to fire away a dangerous shot which Benê Goiano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Benê Goiano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fermin Basajaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Franks in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Erling Franks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Fermin Basajaun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iztal Marisancena in the 67th minute of play forced CeciForEver's goalkeeper Fermin Basajaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, 20 DE SETEMBRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Barreto to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's goal looked a bit too open when Ronan Barbarin came free, but Benê Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the CeciForEver players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 20 DE SETEMBRO.
