Efrain Maria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Legionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Lugo came free, but Efrain Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gladiadores Legionarios's Haroldo Abadie got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 16th minute Arnulfo Lugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Maria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Maria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Junior's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Legionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Junior came free, but Efrain Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes Timmernabben FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Su Xiang Sha who took care of the corner kick. Tomás Guillen made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Haroldo Abadie sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Dalkvist got free with Tomás Guillen in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Efrain Maria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Lugo in the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaká Junior in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Maria saved Gladiadores Legionarios from getting behind. Çakır Yahya hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Gladiadores Legionarios's Ambrosio Gasteiz was substituted for Generoso Cresitobalo. After 50 played minutes Timmernabben FF got a freekick which was hit by Çakır Yahya.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnulfo Lugo was the one to do the kick off. In the 72nd minute of the match, Kaká Junior got a very nice opportunity to score, but Efrain Maria was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tomás Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Dalkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Dalkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The supporters of Timmernabben FF booed when Gladiadores Legionarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Lugo in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efrain Maria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Su Xiang Sha kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Dalkvist in the 84th minute of play forced Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Lugo in the 86th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Timmernabben FF got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Lugo. Gladiadores Legionarios's Bernardino Orzaize was substituted for Ermegildo Calvet. Arnulfo Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Abadie came free, but Tomás Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Timmernabben FF's Kaká Junior slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Efrain Maria. That made the score 0-3 after 94 minutes of play. After 96 minutes, Haroldo Abadie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gladiadores Legionarios and the Timmernabben FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes Gladiadores Legionarios got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Abadie. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Timmernabben FF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
