The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Sven-Arne Kjellman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Abelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orkun Okan in the 9th minute of play. Rune Abelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orkun Okan in the 10th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Froilan Ciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Abelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, FC Blue Twister Liberec's Jiří Hasman got control of the ball when Sven-Arne Kjellman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Wedd FF's goal looked a bit too open when Orkun Okan came free, but Rune Abelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Ciano in the 35th minute of play forced Wedd FF's goalkeeper Rune Abelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Froilan Ciano sped through Wedd FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rune Abelsson. In the 42nd match minute, Wedd FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Björk to maneuver through the defense. Wedd FF's Rune Abelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Emir Devan in the 43rd minute of play. Rune Abelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Ciano in the 44th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Froilan Ciano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wedd FF's Rune Abelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Ciano was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Wedd FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Aceto to maneuver through the defense. FC Blue Twister Liberec's Ali Emir Devan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rune Abelsson but with some difficulty. Jiří Hasman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Dambo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Lundgren during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Rune Abelsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rune Abelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orkun Okan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Emir Devan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Abelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orkun Okan got free with Rune Abelsson in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Froilan Ciano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Blue Twister Liberec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Froilan Ciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Rune Abelsson made a huge save. Johannes Dambo might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jiří Hasman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Dambo ran back to his position shaking his head. Orkun Okan took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Abelsson. Rune Abelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The supporters of Wedd FF booed when FC Blue Twister Liberec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Vennerlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Sven-Arne Kjellman made a precise shot to the right of Jiří Hasman. FC Blue Twister Liberec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Wedd FF's Rune Abelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Wedd FF from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Wedd FF getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Isaac Ahlén hit a great ball. FC Blue Twister Liberec's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
