Rui Figueiras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernie Dixon, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Roman Rollins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of German Fias's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 29th minute, Vitinho Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tyrone Marrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rui Figueiras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DALO S.C.'s Rui Figueiras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Dixon in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Putte von der Putten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DALO S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Putte von der Putten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Figueiras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrone Marrero in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Diniz in the 40th minute of play forced DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Rui Figueiras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca Juniors were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after DALO S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rich Jean took the corner. The corner ended in Ernie Dixon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DALO S.C.'s Rui Figueiras did a great save. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Roman Rollins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Fias made a kick off. Rui Figueiras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrone Marrero in the 52nd minute of play. Boca Juniors were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after DALO S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rich Jean took the corner. Tyrone Marrero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Rui Figueiras made a huge save. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rich Jean hit a great ball. Mora Liebana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Rollins having to interfere. In the 61st minute Lode Van Hemel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Rollins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to DALO S.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Emilio Vispieres hit a great ball. Lode Van Hemel hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Neil Kemp replaced Vitinho Diniz. After a rather tough play, DALO S.C.'s Lode Van Hemel got a free kick in the 74th minute. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Jason Stuart replaced Thanos Sapalidis. Boca Juniors's Cyryl Karpinski was substituted for Tyrone Marrero. León Careaga hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, DALO S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Fias to maneuver through the defense. In the 85thth minute of the game Putte von der Putten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute Mora Liebana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Rollins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, DALO S.C.'s Rui Figueiras got control of the ball when Cyryl Karpinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Putte von der Putten in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Rollins prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
