Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zdzislaw Rydzewski in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Wilhelm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to KIA KAHA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Karl-Henry Roos hit a great ball. Fabio Santilli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldo Renteria in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Cascade Park West got a corner. KIA KAHA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amir Lee ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 29th minute of play. In the 38th minute Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amir Lee was the one to do the kick off. Fabio Santilli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amir Lee in the 53rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amir Lee couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Amir Lee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. KIA KAHA's Thomas Corredor was substituted for Marcelino Calzada. Kong Zhou Li kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Daniel Glanselius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Wilhelm. Cascade Park West's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Glanselius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. KIA KAHA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
