After having played for 25 minutes, Luís Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Hernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Atletas Campesinos F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite America FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
