Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heleno de Freitas made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deilmison Yashin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Edson Futebol Clube's Deilmison Yashin threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Heleno de Freitas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Deilmison Yashin had great luck who in the 77thth minute grab hold of the ball when Heleno de Freitas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Deilmison Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heleno de Freitas in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Edson Futebol Clube's Lucas Hulk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Deilmison Yashin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Edson Futebol Clube's Ernesto Fontes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Deilmison Yashin. That made the score 1-5 after 95 minutes of play. The ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Edson Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
