Cesário Santiago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the game, AVTK's Stasio Mbappè nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olavo Henriques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 79th match minute, AVTK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oktay Nebahattin to maneuver through the defense. Stasio Mbappè recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Olavo Henriques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. George Orwel didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-2 via right post in the game's 88th minute. Racing Club's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 92nd minute, Racing Club's George Orwel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. After 95 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Arif Evvel. The Racing Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Racing Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
