Cláudio Taffarel came out of the goal and Teofil Gierlach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonzo Cordarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute, Teofil Gierlach reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cláudio Taffarel. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 11th minute, Teofil Gierlach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Teofil Gierlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Crosmayo FC defense, Emanuel Obafuso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alonzo Cordarin. The Crosmayo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alonzo Cordarin should have stopped the shot. In the 16th match minute, Crosmayo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Inocente to maneuver through the defense. Teofil Gierlach who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Cláudio Taffarel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 26th minute, one of Racing Club【LBF】:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Racing Club【LBF】. Crosmayo FC's Alonzo Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Obafuso in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes in the game Lucho Gonzales did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emanuel Obafuso. Racing Club【LBF】 were furious when Carolo Chuse was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 36 minutes into the game, one of Racing Club【LBF】:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Racing Club【LBF】's Cláudio Taffarel got control of the ball when Teofil Gierlach tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Teofil Gierlach came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Crosmayo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofil Gierlach couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute Teofil Gierlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofil Gierlach. Domingo Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofil Gierlach was the one to do the kick off. Cláudio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Gierlach in the 53rd minute of play. In the 60th minute of the game Lucho Gonzales made a throw-in which Emanuel Obafuso played forward. 61 minutes into the match, Teofil Gierlach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Taffarel. Racing Club【LBF】's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofil Gierlach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 65th minute, Teofil Gierlach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Crosmayo FC's Alonzo Cordarin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Crosmayo FC from getting a goal against them. Cláudio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Gierlach in the 75th minute of play. Cláudio Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofil Gierlach went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Racing Club【LBF】 made a substitution. Jaime Cordero replaced Severino Jatsu. Crosmayo FC's Michail Antonio was substituted for Domingo Hartz. 84 minutes into the game, Teofil Gierlach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Cláudio Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 88 played minutes Racing Club【LBF】 got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Obafuso. In the 95th match minute, Crosmayo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Gierlach to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Cordarin made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Emanuel Obafuso sent off a good shot on target. Racing Club【LBF】's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
