Moneyball's Dalmo Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Moneyball from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Alexandre Azevedo in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ekskluzywni menele's Jean Dantas. In the 14th match minute, Ekskluzywni menele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Kilar to maneuver through the defense. If Xuaco Oñaederra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuaco Oñaederra in the 15th minute of play forced Ekskluzywni menele's goalkeeper Zbigniew Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmo Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wang Hong Le in the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Moneyball's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Hong Le came free, but Dalmo Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbigniew Brudzisz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xuaco Oñaederra's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 24 minutes of play, Ekskluzywni menele's Wang Hong Le made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmo Tasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dalmo Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Hong Le in the 26th minute of play. Wang Hong Le succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 26th playminute. 35 minutes into the game, one of Moneyball:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dalmo Tasso had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Paolo-César Maldini's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Moneyball's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wang Hong Le was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Xuaco Oñaederra took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Zbigniew Brudzisz to make any attempt to save it. Moneyball made a substitution. Stanislav Mikolášek replaced Mümtaz Yetiş. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuaco Oñaederra in the 67th minute of play forced Ekskluzywni menele's goalkeeper Zbigniew Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekskluzywni menele made a substitution. Zenon Ogrodowicz replaced Wang Hong Le. Moneyball made a substitution. Oliver Bergman replaced Roland Rakowicz. In the 78th minute of the game Alexandre Azevedo made a throw-in which Xuaco Oñaederra played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Zenon Ogrodowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekskluzywni menele's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenon Ogrodowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Moneyball's Zbigniew Brudzisz threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xuaco Oñaederra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 92 minutes into the match, Ekskluzywni menele's goal looked a bit too open when Xuaco Oñaederra came free, but Zbigniew Brudzisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo-César Maldini hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
