In the 4th minute, Jânio Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute Ezequiel Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jânio Lira in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Polidori saved XMAS from getting behind. Jânio Lira might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Polidori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jânio Lira ran back to his position shaking his head. Jânio Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Polidori having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jânio Lira in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Polidori saved XMAS from getting behind. In the 13th minute of the match Torreão OFF got a corner. XMAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kaur Laving ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Kaur Laving almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but XMAS's Armando Polidori did a great save. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jânio Lira sped through XMAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Polidori. Armando Polidori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torreão OFF were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after XMAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kaur Laving took the corner. The corner ended in Ezequiel Ortiz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but XMAS's Armando Polidori did a great save. In the 25th minute Jânio Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torreão OFF's Zézinho Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Torreão OFF from getting a goal against them. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Lira in the 28th minute of the match. When Teodoro Dubardo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Torreão OFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Dubardo couldn't finish the play. Ennio De Nardis kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The wind increased when Ernesto Minichiello made the kick off in the second half. XMAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torreão OFF the free kick. Bruno Alessandrini kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Jânio Lira came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Torreão OFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio Lira couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Torreão OFF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Domenico Mantini was slow to take the kick. During this time XMAS's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Domenico Mantini got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zézinho Freitas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jânio Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Jânio Lira made a precise shot to the right of Armando Polidori. XMAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Zézinho Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio De Nardis, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Jânio Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torreão OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jânio Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jânio Lira came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Torreão OFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio Lira couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, XMAS's Armando Polidori got control of the ball when Jânio Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Polidori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Ortiz in the 72nd minute. Eduardo Prado struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Armando Polidori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torreão OFF. XMAS's Armando Polidori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Lira in the 87th minute of play. Gunther Hillgaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Armando Polidori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Gunther Hillgaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jânio Lira got free with Armando Polidori in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Torreão OFF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
