Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Wlodzimierz Penczkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wlodzimierz Penczkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th minute, Wlodzimierz Penczkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cementerio Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Henry Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Penczkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Polar Ice Caps's zone, Wlodzimierz Penczkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Blom came out of the goal and Wlodzimierz Penczkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Henry Blom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, Melchor Abancens threw the ball into play from the sideline. Polar Ice Caps's Wiktor Ugla quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jack Lundblad kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Bob Maniez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Wlodzimierz Penczkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cementerio Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Wlodzimierz Penczkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Blom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Polar Ice Caps made a substitution. Sivert Sander replaced Jack Lundblad. Polar Ice Caps's Maximiliano Eron quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Melchor Abancens, made in the 65th minute of the game. Cementerio Club's Saatxan Gentiletti was substituted for Fulgencio Valente.
