With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Eron in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Polidori saved XMAS from getting behind. Maximiliano Eron took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Polidori. Armando Polidori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Tord Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Edoardo Rondinelli got a free kick in the 15th minute. Maximiliano Eron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Armando Polidori made a huge save. Henry Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Gianfrancesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Polidori made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Maximiliano Eron sent off a good shot on target. Polar Ice Caps's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Botvidsson in the 23rd minute. Ralf Nyberg was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The crowd rose to their feet as Polar Ice Caps's Maximiliano Eron slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Polidori. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. Armando Polidori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Eron, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Maximiliano Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polar Ice Caps's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Polidori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Maximiliano Eron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Eron in the 53rd minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Concetto Marinucci fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XMAS's protests and gave Concetto Marinucci a yellow card for diving instead. André Botvidsson struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Armando Polidori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polar Ice Caps. A sloppy throw-in by Ferruccio Cesaroni in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Polar Ice Caps's Bob Maniez. In the 64th minute, Maximiliano Eron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Polar Ice Caps made a substitution. Sivert Sander replaced Jack Lundblad. After having played for 68 minutes, Maximiliano Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polar Ice Caps's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Eron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Ferruccio Cesaroni threw the ball into play from the sideline. After having played for 83 minutes, Maximiliano Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polar Ice Caps's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Eron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Eron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessio Ascoli kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play, Polar Ice Caps's Maximiliano Eron made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Polidori was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Polar Ice Caps's Sivert Sander got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Polar Ice Caps were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of XMAS for a fine match.
