After having played for 17 minutes, Tochi Mur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Belén's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tochi Mur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Polar Ice Caps getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dennis Malmberg hit a great ball. A hard shot 24 in the game by Tao Ke Qiang from a close distance when the talented Henry Blom managed to make a qualified save. Polar Ice Caps's players were relieved. Tao Ke Qiang in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henry Blom, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Polar Ice Caps:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Defensores de Belén:s goal. Henry Blom had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Tao Ke Qiang's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Henry Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tao Ke Qiang in the 37th minute of play. Tao Ke Qiang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Jack Lundblad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polar Ice Caps's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Belén the free kick. After a rather tough play, Polar Ice Caps's Jack Lundblad got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tao Ke Qiang was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Ralf Nyberg in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Defensores de Belén's Graham Ashton. Maximiliano Eron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Dante Erramu made a huge save. Defensores de Belén's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Maximiliano Eron scored to the left of an out of position Dante Erramu, making the score, 0-1. The throw-in from Carolo Rio in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Polar Ice Caps's André Botvidsson. 69 minutes in the game Graham Ashton did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carolo Rio. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bob Maniez during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tao Ke Qiang in the 75th minute of play forced Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Henry Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tao Ke Qiang in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Polar Ice Caps's zone, Tao Ke Qiang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Blom came out of the goal and Tao Ke Qiang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Defensores de Belén's Dante Erramu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de Belén from getting a goal against them. Zbigniew Wyciszkiewicz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Polar Ice Caps's Maximiliano Eron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The Defensores de Belén manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Polar Ice Caps to win.
