After a defensive mix-up in ALTAY MYTHS's zone, Tayyar Tunay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cüneyt Baba came out of the goal and Tayyar Tunay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hakkı İzmirli got free with Atıf Mertoğul in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hakkı İzmirli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atıf Mertoğul read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Cüneyt Baba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mondi Drogba in the 33rd minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play, ESPİYEM 28's Mondi Drogba made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cüneyt Baba was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 49 minutes ALTAY MYTHS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Müfit Sıraç who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Müfit Sıraç almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ALTAY MYTHS's Cüneyt Baba did a great save.

The wind increased when Saffet Maksum made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to ALTAY MYTHS getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Erdi Demir hit a great ball. A hard shot 57 in the game by Mondi Drogba from a close distance when the talented Cüneyt Baba managed to make a qualified save. ALTAY MYTHS's players were relieved. Tayyar Tunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Akın in the 63rd minute of play forced ESPİYEM 28's goalkeeper Atıf Mertoğul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saffet Maksum in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atıf Mertoğul saved ESPİYEM 28 from getting behind. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by ESPİYEM 28's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erdi Demir was slow to take the kick. During this time ALTAY MYTHS's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ESPİYEM 28's goalie and right to Hıdır Vahdet. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ESPİYEM 28's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 68 minutes into the match, ESPİYEM 28's Mondi Drogba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cüneyt Baba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Saffet Maksum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atıf Mertoğul was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayyar Tunay in the 82nd minute of play forced ALTAY MYTHS's goalkeeper Cüneyt Baba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ALTAY MYTHS's Cüneyt Baba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save ALTAY MYTHS from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on ESPİYEM 28's corner Müfit Sıraç fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cüneyt Baba quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Saffet Maksum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALTAY MYTHS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saffet Maksum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
