The audience thought a goal was coming when Ján Krempašský got free with Paw Nibelvang in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miroslav Motuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddi Suutari in the 22nd minute of play. Paw Nibelvang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orhan Veli Mirac in the 23rd minute. Antón Macejko charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Veli Mirac in the 39th minute of play forced FC Gamla Stan's goalkeeper Paw Nibelvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, FC XY's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Torres came free, but Miroslav Motuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Torres scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miroslav Motuz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
