The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Faria got free with Miroslav Motuz in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Witold Piszczor made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Israel Carvalhal however managed to control. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ján Krempašský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 周平荣 to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC XY's Miroslav Motuz got control of the ball when Rodolfo Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Ižvolt hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Bernard Perathoner got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Gonzalo Lixandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Veli Mirac in the 36th minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Slaninka who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Gabriel Ižvolt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Vern Bird kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

FC XY's Daniel Pavlovič was substituted for Ján Krempašský. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Faria in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslav Motuz saved FC XY from getting behind. Rodolfo Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Rodolfo Faria hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Rodolfo Faria got a free kick in the 60th minute. 69 minutes into the match, FC XY's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Lixandro came free, but Miroslav Motuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miroslav Motuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Ventura, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Menelaos Damianos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Pavlovič came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC XY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Pavlovič couldn't finish the play. Miroslav Motuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Ventura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Raimundo Ventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Motuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC XY's Miroslav Motuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Lixandro in the 80th minute of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Gonzalo Lixandro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC XY's Miroslav Motuz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Miroslav Motuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bernard Perathoner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miroslav Motuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Perathoner in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to FC XY getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Martin Lukáč hit a great ball. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Rodolfo Faria couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC XY. The supporters of FC XY booed when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Piszczor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
