When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baykal Yanal made a kick off. In the 70th minute Aydın Tor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Newcastle United F.C.'s Zlatan Malmberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moisés Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. JFSP's Roberto Pato was substituted for Baykal Yanal. In the 90th minute Witomir Arnista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Fredrik Glanselius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moisés Novaes. JFSP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredrik Glanselius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.
