Atletico Maturrango's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hitzeder Serans in the 7th minute. After 12 minutes of play, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Gartxot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Konrad Wasikowski hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Braulio Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Herbella, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 29th match minute, Atletico Maturrango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Herbella to maneuver through the defense. Weather Piedrahita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcel da Rocha's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The throw-in from Konrad Wasikowski in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atletico Maturrango's Xizavier Varona. After 45 played minutes Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Kalak. 47 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Hitzeder Serans came free, but Braulio Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Herbella was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florencio Herbella in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Gartxot saved Red Devils from getting behind. A collision led to Red Devils getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Slawomir Trzaskoma hit a great ball. In the 59th match minute, Atletico Maturrango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Gavito to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 60th minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Weather Piedrahita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Red Devils were awarded a corner. Sotos Zervoulakos went to the cornerflag to take it. Braulio Gartxot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Herbella's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Herbella in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Dawid Kalak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Maturrango made a substitution. Ederono Ojero replaced Florencio Herbella. Atletico Maturrango's Orlin Hinojosa was substituted for Lucas Sardaneta. In the 72nd match minute, Red Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Kalak to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Red Devils's Konrad Wasikowski got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The throw-in from Michael Gavito in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Red Devils's Bartlomiej Rakoski. When Atletico Maturrango's Ederono Ojero in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Devils's goalie prevented a goal. Marcial Zuazna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Gartxot having to interfere. Ederono Ojero took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Gartxot. Braulio Gartxot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atletico Maturrango had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
