The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adam Baldy kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Herta Budino got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Grosso. Alvis Vilners made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Herta Budino's Pedro Velasco. Espen Lyngsby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Espen Lyngsby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davide Rinaldi's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Davide Rinaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Lyngsby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the -BZF- Ursus Magura defense, Davide Rinaldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Espen Lyngsby. The -BZF- Ursus Magura fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Espen Lyngsby should have stopped the shot. Espen Lyngsby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Herta Budino's Pedro Velasco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Olimpiu Udrea, made in the 29th minute of the game. If Davide Rinaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Fortunato Sangermano managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when -BZF- Ursus Magura's Nicolas Whitmore fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Espen Lyngsby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After the first half Herta Budino were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Whitmore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Espen Lyngsby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davide Rinaldi's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Davide Rinaldi made a precise shot to the right of Espen Lyngsby. -BZF- Ursus Magura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. -BZF- Ursus Magura's Aurel Bălăiță was substituted for Iwan Pusiak. Espen Lyngsby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 71st minute of play. Davide Rinaldi struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Espen Lyngsby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herta Budino. -BZF- Ursus Magura's Duddu Georgescu was substituted for Mihăiţă Vergulescu. Herta Budino made a substitution. Virgílio Furtado replaced Achille Di Crescenzo. In the 81st minute, Duddu Georgescu made a precise shot to the right of Fortunato Sangermano. Herta Budino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Pedro Velasco hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Nicolas Whitmore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, -BZF- Ursus Magura's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Furtado came free, but Espen Lyngsby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, -BZF- Ursus Magura's Espen Lyngsby got control of the ball when Davide Rinaldi tried to sneak it across the goal line. -BZF- Ursus Magura's Espen Lyngsby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Furtado in the 95th minute of play.
