The crowd rose to their feet as Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Zeng Ting Xing slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlinhos Pinho. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeng Ting Xing in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Costante Segarra heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Carlinhos Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeng Ting Xing in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeng Ting Xing to make the kick off. Celso Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Dragomir Marchovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52ndth minute of the game Zeng Ting Xing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MelissaMel's Carlinhos Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 54 minutes of play, Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Zeng Ting Xing made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlinhos Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Zeng Ting Xing came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Union Y Progreso F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeng Ting Xing couldn't finish the play. MelissaMel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union Y Progreso F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, MelissaMel's Augusto Valery got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Zeng Ting Xing managed to get in a good position for a shot. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Zeng Ting Xing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlinhos Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlinhos Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeng Ting Xing in the 72nd minute of the match. Olle Melander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Pan Zheng Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlinhos Pinho came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Zeng Ting Xing. But to his dismay, Zeng Ting Xing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Zeng Ting Xing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costante Segarra in the 91st minute of play forced MelissaMel's goalkeeper Carlinhos Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Santiago Meruendano to a score. 7-0 in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Zeng Ting Xing notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of MelissaMel's Carlinhos Pinho. Carlinhos Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Union Y Progreso F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
