Under Construct's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. 46 minutes into the match, Juan-Carlos Cervantes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fábio Pombal. Under Construct's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan-Carlos Cervantes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Silvério Tróia made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Leripe Lifestyle's zone, Angelo Cibran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paredes Soberano came out of the goal and Angelo Cibran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan-Carlos Cervantes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fábio Pombal came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan-Carlos Cervantes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 63rd minute. Henry Huyghebaert's late challenge caught a Leripe Lifestyle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
