To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomiro Clementi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Arnolds in the 16th minute of play forced Blåvitt's goalkeeper Mike Cassar Torreggiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Blåvitt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Bierunese's Baldomiro Clementi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mike Cassar Torreggiani. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Lundberg in the 26th minute of play forced Bierunese's goalkeeper Werner Kamps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Werner Kamps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Johansson in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Arnolds in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike Cassar Torreggiani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiaan Schipper in the 31st minute of play. Gösta Lundberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Werner Kamps having to make a save. Werner Kamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Johansson in the 35th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Bierunese's Baldomiro Clementi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Mike Cassar Torreggiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Arnolds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Arnolds to make the kick off. 姜西峰 kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Kevin Arnolds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uno Helander kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Kevin Arnolds took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mike Cassar Torreggiani. Blåvitt's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Donato Alvarez notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani. Mike Cassar Torreggiani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
