Wen Bing Liang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Rüştü Rencber made a huge save. In the 14th minute of the match SÉ SE got a corner. Valar morghulis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Levente Ballai ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on SÉ SE's corner Levente Ballai fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rüştü Rencber quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Rüştü Rencber managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when SÉ SE's Wen Bing Liang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to SÉ SE getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kálmán Ónodi hit a great ball. János Moravecz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Nedim Ertaş's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. János Moravecz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Cüneyt Oksu in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Ahmet Nedim Ertaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Moravecz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SÉ SE's János Moravecz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Cüneyt Oksu in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Valar morghulis were awarded a corner. Gökay Ömür went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gökay Ömür almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SÉ SE's János Moravecz did a great save. The supporters of Valar morghulis booed when SÉ SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Levente Ballai didn't get a good kick on the ball. János Moravecz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Battal Cüneyt Oksu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Armas Vapamaa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 47th match minute, SÉ SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Dudás to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Battal Cüneyt Oksu to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, SÉ SE's Armas Vapamaa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes Valar morghulis got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Nedim Ertaş. Rüştü Rencber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wen Bing Liang in the 55th minute of the match. Battal Cüneyt Oksu's late challenge caught a SÉ SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Battal Cüneyt Oksu helped the player get up and apologised. Battal Cüneyt Oksu kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, SÉ SE's János Moravecz got control of the ball when İsa Fındık tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valar morghulis's Rüştü Rencber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wen Bing Liang in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsa Fındık in the 63rd minute of play forced SÉ SE's goalkeeper János Moravecz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SÉ SE's Wen Bing Liang got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rüştü Rencber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Sabóia in the 65th minute of play. János Moravecz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsa Fındık in the 68th minute of the match. After 77 minutes of play, SÉ SE's Wen Bing Liang made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rüştü Rencber was left in no man's land by his defense there! SÉ SE made a substitution. Zalán Ibrahimovic replaced Wen Bing Liang. If Attila Pálffy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rüştü Rencber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zalán Ibrahimovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SÉ SE's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
