In the 3rd minute Gökay Ömür shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Stevens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rüştü Rencber having to make a save. 6 minutes into the match, Valar morghulis's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Stevens. Max Stevens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rüştü Rencber came out and tried to block the shot, but Max Stevens slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. When GreenUnited's Max Stevens in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valar morghulis's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsa Fındık, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsa Fındık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of GreenUnited booed when Valar morghulis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabahattin Zati didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rüştü Rencber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Stevens in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, GreenUnited's Edward Chaniago got a free kick in the 35th minute. 44 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nedim Ertaş came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

GreenUnited made a substitution. Michalis Kourtis replaced Daniel Dănilă. GreenUnited's Yaman Akar was substituted for Max Stevens. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yaman Akar to strike the kick off in the second half. İsa Fındık could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Sebastián Torrico made a huge save. Rüştü Rencber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michalis Kourtis in the 57th minute of the match. Rüştü Rencber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaman Akar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Yaman Akar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GreenUnited fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 76th minute, Yaman Akar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rüştü Rencber was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After 80 played minutes Valar morghulis got a freekick which was hit by Sabahattin Zati. Valar morghulis's Rüştü Rencber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaman Akar in the 81st minute of play. Rüştü Rencber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaman Akar in the 84th minute of play. GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save GreenUnited from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Valar morghulis getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ahmet Nedim Ertaş hit a great ball. The supporters of GreenUnited booed when Valar morghulis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hıncal Cebir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Michalis Kourtis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rüştü Rencber skillfully saved the ball. In the 92nd minute, Fertus Rigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, one of GreenUnited:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GreenUnited. Valar morghulis's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
