A nice corner shot did that Dimitris Panagiotakis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yann Sommer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endri Kamil in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edward Jaktorowo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Åke Källberg was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Yann Sommer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Landin in the 24th minute of the match. Torgny Landin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yann Sommer came out and tried to block the shot, but Torgny Landin slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Endri Kamil made the kick off in the second half. Torgny Landin scored 4-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yann Sommer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, FC Stoners's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Yann Sommer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Boca Juniors support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
