The audience was convinced that Macit Sağıt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislav Dvorskiy was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Macit Sağıt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Stanislav Dvorskiy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18thth minute of the game Macit Sağıt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stanislav Dvorskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Jun Xi in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match Resistencia Tayrona FC got a corner. Suprs Academia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ingmar Kracke ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Benedict Baird got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacek Ptaszek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ingmar Kracke kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Resistencia Tayrona FC got a freekick which was hit by Bermudo Uranga. After 35 minutes Suprs Academia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ingmar Kracke who took care of the corner kick. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macit Sağıt in the 37th minute of play. Amílcar Leiria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Stanislav Dvorskiy made a huge save. Charlie Hultin's late challenge caught a Resistencia Tayrona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charlie Hultin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Resistencia Tayrona FC booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Hultin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Suprs Academia's Roderick Potvin got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ingmar Kracke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedict Baird stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macit Sağıt in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislav Dvorskiy saved Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting behind. 57 minutes into the game, Burt Cawthorne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Stanislav Dvorskiy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedict Baird hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Resistencia Tayrona FC made a substitution. Taurino Hernaiz replaced Benedict Baird. A collision led to Resistencia Tayrona FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Benedict Baird hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chale Galanes during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Chale Galanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Resistencia Tayrona FC made a substitution. Maore Tejerina replaced Inguma Espejo. Stanislav Dvorskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macit Sağıt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Suprs Academia's Macit Sağıt got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aparício Rebocho got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Amílcar Leiria. In the 78th minute, Amílcar Leiria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislav Dvorskiy was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Stanislav Dvorskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macit Sağıt in the 81st minute of the match. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Xusto Lasquibar was substituted for Mihnea Vasilian. The throw-in from Burt Cawthorne in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Resistencia Tayrona FC's Maore Tejerina. Amílcar Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Stanislav Dvorskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Xusto Lasquibar got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Amílcar Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jacek Ptaszek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taurino Hernaiz struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jacek Ptaszek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resistencia Tayrona FC.
