Henning Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Prada in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's goal looked a bit too open when Rodney Huston came free, but Silas de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Hornos's Silas de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodney Huston in the 9th minute of play. Los Hornos's attentive Marcu Şuteu managed to snatch the ball when Harry Sjö made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Prada in the 11th minute of play forced Wyoming Cowboys's goalkeeper Henning Berglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Berglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Prada in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wyoming Cowboys's goalkeeper Henning Berglund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dário Prada scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henning Berglund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dário Prada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Rodney Huston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Hornos's Lucas Staff was substituted for Gene Simmons. In the 30th minute Los Hornos were awarded a corner. Justino Amato went to the cornerflag to take it. Dário Prada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Mats McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Battle Bundy made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Hornos's Jaime Veronica. If Dário Prada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute Dário Prada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Los Hornos getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marcu Şuteu hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Nils McNamara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silas de Andrade skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dário Prada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dário Prada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henning Berglund having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Dário Prada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henning Berglund was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Dário Prada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wyoming Cowboys's goalkeeper Henning Berglund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wyoming Cowboys made a substitution. Verner Myr replaced Lanny Lilly. It was a well-played corner which Gerardo Joseph managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 67 minutes into the game, Los Hornos's Dário Prada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henning Berglund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 72 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's goal looked a bit too open when Rodney Huston came free, but Silas de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Hornos's Silas de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats McNamara in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wyoming Cowboys's goalkeeper Henning Berglund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dário Prada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Berglund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Henning Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Prada, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Dário Prada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 played minutes Los Hornos got a freekick which was hit by Dário Prada. After 93 played minutes Los Hornos got a freekick which was hit by Armando Rafel. Los Hornos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wyoming Cowboys for a fine match.
