Tony Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Ifrim's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Fresco Sesse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adriano Croti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Ifrim in the 17th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Bajenland's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Primo came free, but Emil Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Fresco Sesse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta defense, Fresco Sesse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Guimarães. The C. A. Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Guimarães should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Emil Hägg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Eliseo Sasoin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Croti in the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Primo in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Hägg saved Bajenland from getting behind. Elias Orlan came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emil Hägg could save by the left post. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Adriano Croti sped through C. A. Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tony Guimarães. 47 minutes into the match, Fresco Sesse notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães. Tony Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Ifrim was the one to do the kick off. Tony Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fresco Sesse in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Fresco Sesse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Ifrim, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bajenland's zone, Elias Orlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Hägg came out of the goal and Elias Orlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Jean-Baptiste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tony Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães got control of the ball when Denis Ifrim tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Bajenland booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Orlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the game, Denis Ifrim landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 68 minutes into the game, Romulo Hever was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bajenland the free kick. Romulo Hever hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Bajenland's Emil Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Orlan in the 72nd minute of play. Emil Hägg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Bajenland's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Sasoin came free, but Emil Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Ifrim, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tony Guimarães. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tony Lindell was slow to take the kick. During this time Bajenland's players had a chance to rest. Denis Ifrims short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Tony Guimarães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
