An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Cheche in the 10th minute of play forced The Best Ones's goalkeeper Régis Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, CA Juventud Unida's Emil Arendarski got control of the ball when Arnaldo Sarmento tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 15 minutes, Rainer Marthaler made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Best Ones's Régis Leite tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Régis Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesús Banana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes The Best Ones's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ján Hanzel who took care of the corner kick. Régis Leite came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Juventud Unida's Jesús Banana. But to his dismay, Jesús Banana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, CA Juventud Unida's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Sarmento. The Best Ones's Régis Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainer Marthaler in the 36th minute of play. CA Juventud Unida's Rainer Marthaler managed to work through The Best Ones's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rainer Marthaler dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 40th minute Jesus Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Saverio Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Régis Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesús Banana in the 43rd minute of play.
CA Juventud Unida's Clodoveo Hanni was substituted for Ján Hanzel. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Régis Leite successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 56 minutes into the match, Saverio Petrigai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Régis Leite, 0-3. The The Best Ones fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when The Best Ones's Deivid Passos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Passos in the 62nd minute of play forced CA Juventud Unida's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Saverio Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deivid Passos scored 2-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Arendarski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saverio Petrigai took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Régis Leite. Régis Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 72nd minute, Deivid Passos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Arendarski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The Best Ones's Régis Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save The Best Ones from getting a goal against them. Rainer Marthaler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Régis Leite made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, CA Juventud Unida's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Passos came free, but Emil Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, CA Juventud Unida's Régis Leite threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jesús Banana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. CA Juventud Unida's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
