The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Dantae in the 4th minute of play forced FC Wingspan's goalkeeper Kristian Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Pettersson in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Eliazar saved Kenya from getting behind. FC Wingspan's Kristian Modig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save FC Wingspan from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Allan Pettersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Eliazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Kenya's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Pettersson came free, but Maximiliano Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Cecilio Dantae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Allan Pettersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Eliazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kristian Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Dantae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Pettersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Eliazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Paco Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Kristian Modig made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, FC Wingspan's Allan Pettersson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Eliazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Dantae stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Michal Prokowski threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Wingspan's Nuno Caires quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 55th minute, FC Wingspan's Allan Pettersson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian-Federico Overman got free with Maximiliano Eliazar in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 played minutes FC Wingspan got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Svanér. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Michal Prokowski with Cecilio Dantae as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, Kenya's Maximiliano Eliazar got control of the ball when Allan Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lorenzo Betadur made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cecilio Dantae immediately put the ball in play. Doru Trăilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Wingspan's Jocke Nilsson was substituted for Allan Pettersson. In the 84th minute Jocke Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Jocke Nilsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Maximiliano Eliazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Kenya lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
